Our vision
Our commitment to our home
We do everything we can to protect our planet, which is also our home. Home is where we feel best, the place that lies at the heart of our work and our lives. If we take care of your home, it is our duty to take care of ours too.
We know there is still much more to do, but we always try to do our best: we believe that every action, however small, counts and makes a difference.

In every choice we make, our local area is always at the centre of initiatives aimed at promoting Made in Italy. The wood processing we use, as well as the components of our furniture, come from Italy and are derived from responsible forest management. The wood comes from forests that have received FSC® certification, managed in accordance with their ten environmental, social and economic criteria, including improving the social and economic wellbeing of local communities and mitigating negative environmental impacts.
The FSC® certified panels we use come from fir and are made from virgin wood, while others come from recycled wood to create a circular economy. In addition to their excellent technical properties, the virgin and recycled panels we use are environmentally sustainable because they respect the forest they come from and its management. The felling is controlled and no part of the wood goes to waste.

All our panels are also CARB P2 certified and therefore contain a reduced amount of formaldehyde. This means they comply with the emission standards set by the California CARB certification, which has now become a benchmark in the furniture industry.

50% of the energy we use is
generated by solar panels.

We know that energy is a vital resource and we believe in the path towards energy independence that we have already begun. To reduce CO2 emissions, we have installed solar panels at our facility. These generate 50% of the energy we use, allowing us to partially power our operations with renewable energy we produce ourselves.
In 2017 we also began our transition to Industry 4.0, combining technological innovation and sustainability. This digital transformation allows us not only to increase our efficiency and productivity through new technologies, but also to become more effective in energy management. We can focus on optimising processes and resource use to reduce energy waste.
Given the volume of our production, we are well aware of the importance of developing packaging solutions that respect the environment. Our goal is to optimise our current packaging and move towards entirely sustainable alternatives.
For now, we use 99% recycled cardboard to package our products. We have also reduced the use of plastic and polystyrene in our packaging by 95%. In order to eliminate these materials entirely, we are actively looking for new sustainable packaging solutions.
Together with Treedom we decided to plant over 200 trees to help combat climate change. For us it is a way of closing the loop, since melamine board is a wood derivative and forms the heart of our products.
Treedom also uses an agroforestry system approach in its projects, with a range of benefits. This system involves growing a diverse combination of trees, shrubs and crops so that they work in synergy, fostering biodiversity.
- Long term carbon absorption
- Soil enrichment
- Biodiversity conservation
- Improvements in air and water quality
