Eetkamermeubels

The dining room is where Tuesday pasta and Christmas lunch happen at the same table. Our modern dining room furniture is designed in Italy around that idea: pieces that look good every day and stretch when the guest list does. Tables, chairs, benches and sideboards come in coordinated finishes, so you can build the whole room or just replace the piece that is letting it down.

Extendable dining tables: room for one more

An extendable dining table is the most useful piece you can buy for a dining room that is not huge. Keep it compact for the week, open it up when family arrives. Choose a rectangular table for long rooms or a round extendable table to soften a square space and keep conversation flowing.

Dining chairs and benches

Chairs set the mood of the room, from minimal shapes to upholstered seats you will want to linger on. A bench along one side of the table seats more people in less space and slides underneath when not in use: perfect for kids, and for that one friend who always brings a plus one.

Dining room storage: sideboards and buffets

A sideboard, or buffet if you prefer, keeps plates, glasses and tablecloths within reach of the table. It also doubles as a serving surface during dinner and a display spot for lamps, plants and the good bottle of wine. Low cube shelves and runners add the final layer.

How to size your dining room furniture

1. Allow about 60 cm of table width per person.
2. Leave at least 90 cm between the table edge and the wall so chairs can slide out.
3. In a small dining room, an extendable console that becomes a table is the space saving trick.

Made to handle spilled wine

Every table and sideboard is made of chipboard with a melamine finish: scratch resistant, easy to clean after the sauce lands where it should not. Rated 4.9/5 by our customers, with a 2 year warranty, scheduled delivery and assembly videos.
